Statsminister Jens Stoltenberg har i dag sendt følgende kondolansebrev til statsminister Singh i India etter bombingen i Mumbai:

"On behalf of the Norwegian Government, I would like to express my deepest sympathy with the Indian people and the Indian Government after the tragic loss of life in the series of bomb explosions in Mumbai yesterday. I would like to extend my condolences to the families of those who were killed and my sympathy to the many that were injured.

Norway condemns these terrible acts in the strongest terms. Together we must continue to fight terrorism with determination and resolve, and to do everything in our power to protect human life and dignity.
