Millennium Development Goal No 8 – Progress Report by Norway 2004

This report describes the status of Norway's contribution to the realization of the eight Millennium Development Goals, which were endorsed by the heads of state and government of all members of the United Nations at the Millennium Summit in 2000. The report focuses in particular on Norway's efforts to improve the debt situation of poor countries, provide increased and better development assistance, contribute to the fight against corruption, and improve access to and use of new technologies, the global environmental situation and international trade relations.

The report was presented to the United Nations on 29 October 2004 by Minister of International Development Hilde F. Johnson.
