On the occasion of your re-election as President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, I would like to wish you every success.

Norway and Egypt enjoy excellent relations and collaborate closely on a wide range of issues. The Norwegian Government appreciates the key role Egypt is playing in seeking solutions to unresolved conflicts in your region. We commend Egypt’s tireless efforts to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and to end the war between Hamas and Israel. 

I look forward to continuing our close contact and to further developing cooperation between our two countries.
