Dear Premier Li Qiang

Thank you for the hospitality extended to me and my delegation during my visit to Beijing and Shanghai in September.

I greatly appreciated our frank and constructive exchange. It is a testament to the strength of our relationship that we can openly discuss the most serious challenges of our time, including matters where our perspectives differ.

I am pleased that we agreed to establish a dialogue on the green transition. It is my hope that this dialogue can serve as a platform for closer cooperation between our two countries, creating further opportunities for businesses and enhancing efforts to accelerate the green transition.

I would like to extend my congratulations in honour of 70 years of diplomatic relations between Norway and China and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Please accept our best wishes for the continued prosperity of the people of China.
