On the occasion of your re-election as President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, I would like to wish you every success.

Norway and Algeria enjoy good relations and collaborate closely on a wide range of issues. The Norwegian Government appreciates the role Algeria is playing in promoting regional and global peace, and we commend Algeria for its efforts in the Security Council. I wish you and your government every success in continuing to promote sustainable economic development, including for women and young people, and to promote democracy and human rights.

I look forward to further developing cooperation between our two countries.
