Dear Prime Minister

I would like to convey my warmest congratulations on your re-election on 21 October.

I greatly value the strong ties and close cooperation between our two countries in a wide range of contexts, including in the UN, NATO, the OSCE and other multilateral organisations. As Arctic nations, Norway and Canada work closely together in the Arctic Council to advance sustainable development in the north.

I personally look forward to continuing to work with you in the High-level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy.

Norway and Canada share many values and both our countries benefit from the rules-based international order and work actively to defend it. This is now more important than ever. I am confident that we can further expand and deepen our relations in the time ahead.
