In today’s session of the Council of State, the King has appointed Ms. Rikke Lind (38), manager, Nesoddtangen, as state secretary to Minister of Trade and Industry Dag Terje Andersen.

Rikke Lind comes from the post as manager of the Maritime Forum of Norway. She has formerly been head of section at the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association and advisor at the Norwegian Electricity Industry Association. She was a Labour member of Storting (parliament) for the county of Akershus 2000-2001 and political advisor to Labour’s parliamentary group 1997-1999. She is a trained teacher from the College of Oslo 1996.
